Stara Baska is a small pastoral fisherman's village on the south - eastern coast of the island of Krk, 10 kilometers from Punat. Its origin dates from the fourteenth century. The village is partially protected from the north-eastern wind, bora, by limestone rocks that surround it.
Stara Baska offers clear sea, beautiful beaches, peace, quiet
and above all, nature still intact.
There is also possibility for various sport activity, diving and dive fishing, hiking etc. It is isolated from other
communities on the island, so the resident's lifestyle and language differ from others.
